Meadowood Farm is close to Bennington and Manchester Vermont, yet a world apart.
There is a place in southwestern Vermont where back roads lead to lush horse farms, where peace and quiet abound. The air is cool all summer long and vistas stretch for miles. That place is Meadowood Farm, a decidedly unique mountaintop experience.

 On 18 acres, Meadowood is a safe haven of Vermont forest, fields and meadows.
Take in the panoramic views of Mount Anthony, Mount Graylock, the Bennington Monument and the entire Bennington Valley.

Bring your horse and/or trail ride at a neighboring stable.
We have a one-horse barn and turn-out paddock available for your horse.

The Haflinger Room at Meadowood Farm Vermont

Stay in our classic farmhouse. Two large guest rooms have king beds, sitting areas with TV and private bathrooms. Perfect for families at a great price, two smaller rooms share a bathroom; one has a queen bed, the other twins. A new addition to our farmhouse offers a luxury suite with king bed, sitting area, TV, private bathroom with separate custom tile shower and Whirlpool tub and an anteroom with wet bar, dining table and lounge chair. A full multi-course breakfast is included. As experienced innkeepers, we place our guests' comfort as our highest priority.

Seasonally-dependant nightly guest room rates range from $140 to $170; rates for the two smaller rooms range from $150 to $180 (up to 4 guests); nightly rates for the guest suite range from $155 to $175. Rates are based on single or double occupancy per room. Additional guest (ages 4 and up) rate is $20 per night. Family and long-term rates are determined based on each unique situation. We ask a deposit of $100 to confirm a reservation. Major credit cards (VISA and MasterCard) are accepted as well as personal checks.
Meadowood has a 7-day cancellation period. Deposits will be refunded less a $15 cancellation fee if we are notified at least 7 days prior to your arrival. In most cases, if we retain the deposit, credit will be provided for a similar future stay.

Upon request, complimentary soft drinks, afternoon snacks, and evening hors d'oeuvres with Vermont cheese are served in our living room with fireplace or beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the Farm's tranquil environs. Experience exceptional dining served in the Farmhouse dining room or the more casual sunroom. Reservations are by prior arrangement and based on availability. Please see our Menu.

Meadowood Farm is pet-friendly. There is no extra charge for a well-behaved dog. Depending on availability, a horse may be boarded at our barn for $25 per night; bring your own food. Additional horses may be boarded at a neighbor's stable for $35 per night.
